Memes are an effective way to communicate an idea or a message with a tinge of humour over the internet. They are generally used to poke fun at persons, events, ideologies, etc. But these days memes are also used to discredit and ridicule religious faith. Christian faith has become a frequent target of organised meme attacks. Such memes shared on social media platforms target the Christian youth who are in their formative years, leaving them confused. These youngsters become defenseless and vulnerable when their friends with atheistic or other religious convictions methodically confront them with lies about the Christian faith.
